iTENS

While working for Chicago-based design consultancy, Studio Murmur, we were tasked by the maker of the world's first wireless T.E.N.S. unit to redesign their app-enabled iTENS product.  Our research indicated diverse markets so we developed potential concept variations.  The result added functionality while reducing costs by eliminating unnecessary parts and combining various technologies into a single, small and user-friendly housing. 

The research phase involved studying the first version of the product and determining where we could alter and slim down the design as well as dozens of sketch concepts of potential varied design directions.  This led to full 3D modeled assemblies, dimension drawing files for manufacturer, and providing different color and texture combinations to the client.
